Our Story
In June of 2017, a missionary couple, Isaac and Chrisma Neelam moved to Gannavaram region of Andhra Pradesh to plant a Gospel-centred Church in this region. They rented a house and started a family bible study group on July 21, 2017. The group consisted of 4-5 believers who gathered regularly on Fridays for a year for the study of the Word, prayer, and fellowship. Although the group was small, the fellowship was meaningful. Within a few days, a kids’ bible class was started that attracted many children to the knowledge of the true God. Later, Bethany Baptist Church, Bangalore joined our vision and supported the church through their guidance and help.
In September 2018, the small bible study group started to meet on Sunday Evenings for Worship. New believers started to join the group and eventually, the fellowship started to meet on Sunday Mornings. Now, the church meets Every Sunday Morning at 9 AM for God-glorifying, Christ-centred, Spirit-filled worship. The fellowship was instituted into a Church on July 21, 2019, through the announcement of the Statement of Faith, recognition of Elders and members making a covenant.
