Our Story
In June 2017, church planter Isaac Neelam and his wife Chrisma—sent by Bethany Baptist Church, Bangalore—moved to the Gannavaram region of Andhra Pradesh to plant a Gospel-centered church. They rented a house and started a family Bible study group on July 21, 2017. The group, made up of 4-5 believers, gathered faithfully every Friday for a year to study the Word, pray, and fellowship. Though small, the group fostered deep and meaningful connections. Soon after, a kids’ Bible class began, drawing many children to the knowledge of the true God. Bethany Baptist Church, Bangalore, continued to support the vision with ongoing guidance and resources.
In September 2018, this small Bible study group started to meet on Sunday evenings for worship. New believers began joining the group, and eventually the fellowship started meeting on Sunday mornings. Now, the church meets every Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. for God-glorifying, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled worship. The fellowship was instituted as a church on July 21, 2019, through the announcement of the Statement of Faith, recognition of elders, and members making a covenant. In February 2024, the church was reconstituted by covenanting with new members.
